Job summary

AXA Group Headquarters seeks a senior, qualified lawyer with strong international M&A experience to lead complex deals and corporate transformations. You will work with internal teams across corporate development, finance, and investor relations, and coordinate with external counsel to ensure high-quality transaction documents.

You will provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice, challenge advice where necessary, and help shape strategic transactions under the Unlock the Future Strategy.

Qualifications

• Senior qualified lawyer with at least 7 years post-qualification experience
• International M&A training from a top-tier firm or in-house equivalent
• Fluency in English and French is required

Responsibilities

• Lead international M&A projects and corporate transformations
• Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel on deal documents and governance
• Provide pragmatic legal advice aligned with commercial objectives
• Represent AXA on deal steering committees and Board-level discussions
