Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Research Staff specialized in large language models in France. You will push the boundaries of LLMs, explore transformer optimizations, data curation, and distributed training, translating discoveries into scalable, production-ready capabilities.

You will join a fast-moving, AI-first team with strong autonomy to shape research directions. Remote across the EMEA region, full-time, with opportunities to lead ambitious projects and publish results

Formación

• At least 3 years of experience in applied deep learning research.
• Strong understanding of neural network architectures and loss functions.
• Hands-on experience with large language models, data curation, distributed training, transformer optimization, and RL.
• Proficient in Python and PyTorch.
• Experience with autoregressive and seq-to-seq transformer models.
• Knowledge of distributed computing and large-scale data processing.
• Experience designing and conducting experiments and using findings to improve models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication.
• Independent, autonomous worker capable of rapid experimentation.
• Strong interest in state-of-the-art AI research and practical applications.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to cutting-edge LLM research and develop production-ready models.
• Collaborate to define and develop new LLM research initiatives.
• Conduct literature reviews and synthesize research methods.
• Design and execute experimental programs for LLM development and optimization.
• Research transformer architectures and training methods for performance.
• Lead large-scale LLM training using distributed infrastructure.
• Improve data curation, training efficiency, and RL techniques.
• Translate experiments into scalable solutions and real-world products.
• Document findings and communicate complex concepts clearly.
