Job summary

Keoni in Europe seeks a Linux Systems Engineer specializing in automation to design, develop, and maintain robust Bash scripts and automation workflows in critical enterprise environments.

You will collaborate with operations and development teams to automate tasks, improve reliability, and integrate scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI, with strong emphasis on monitoring and incident response in high-availability contexts.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Bash and Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of version control tools (Git).
• Experience in automation and scripting for complex systems.
• Good understanding of CI/CD processes and associated tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Ability to diagnose and resolve problems related to scripts and the system environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and industrialized Bash scripts for automating system and application tasks.
• Improve the reliability, performance, and maintainability of existing scripts.
• Integrate scripts into industrialization pipelines: CI/CD, supervision, monitoring, and operations.
• Implement error handling, logging, and alerting mechanisms adapted to a critical context.
• Work closely with systems, operations, and application teams to identify automation needs and propose sustainable solutions.
• Participate in the diagnosis and resolution of incidents related to Linux environments and scripts.
