Job summary

Ubisoft is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to act as the dedicated day‑to‑day partner for Creative House 4 (CH4), while remaining embedded in the HQ Legal Department. You will provide clear, business‑oriented legal guidance to enable CH4 teams to move fast while identifying legal and brand risks early.

You’ll work with iconic franchises like Anno, Beyond Good & Evil, Might & Magic, Prince of Persia, Rayman and Trackmania, ensuring global consistency and governance across regions and partners.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of legal experience with strong grounding in IP, media/marketing and commercial contracting.
• Entertainment/gaming industry experience preferred.
• Fluent English is a must; French appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal point of contact for Creative House 4, owning CH4’s legal intake end‑to‑end or through specialists.
• Provide day‑to‑day advice across IP use, protection and enforcement coordination; marketing, campaigns, talent/endorsement deals, licensing and brand partnerships.
• Attend CH4 leadership meetings to ensure early legal involvement in initiatives across Ubisoft franchises.
• Develop expertise in CH4’s franchises, brand positioning and commercial roadmap; anticipate legal needs through lifecycle stages.
• Identify recurring issues and propose templates, playbooks, training and process improvements for global consistency.
• Keep HQ Legal informed of campaigns, product beats, new business models and emerging risks; escalate complex matters.
• Coordinate specialist support (privacy, regulatory, competition, employment) as needed.
• Translate HQ policies into practical guidance for CH4 teams; drive adoption of best practices and process improvements.
