Ingenico, a global leader in payments solutions, seeks an experienced Software Development Engineer to maintain and evolve Java server applications and their ecosystem. The role emphasizes CI/CD, Linux environments, and packaging for deployment.

You will work autonomously on critical topics while helping improve development practices and standards across Architecture, Security, Operations, and Support teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proven Java backend development experience in complex environments.
• Hands-on experience with software industrialization and CI/CD practices.
• Advanced knowledge of Maven.
• Strong Java knowledge (Java 8 to Java 25).
• Good Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Jenkins, Docker administration and usage, Bash scripting, PostgreSQL 16+.

Responsabilités

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Java-based server applications.
• Design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
• Perform testing, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, performance, and reliability.
• Maintain and improve Maven build systems and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Support Linux and containerized environments (Docker, WSL2) and DevOps tooling.
