CMA CGM Group in Marseille is seeking a Senior IT Business Controller to join the Finance Department, within the Global DSI & TransformationUnit. You will oversee IT cost control for the shipping business and partner with IT teams.

You will produce monthly IT cost reports, manage intercompany recharges, support budgets/forecasts, and prepare ROI analyses. You will drive automation and harmonized IT reporting across the group.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance or engineering.
• ≈10 years of experience in a similar role or in Audit.
• Strong IT tools, data processing and reporting skills.
• Excellent command of IT tools: Excel, SAP, BI, PowerPoint, OneStream, SharePoint.
• Good level of English.
• Rigorous, organized, dynamic and autonomous.
• Strong analytical skills and transformation topics experience in an international environment.

Responsabilités

• Establish monthly consolidated IT cost reports for the shipping unit.
• Coordinate intercompany IT cost recharges to subsidiaries.
• Support IT budget and forecast exercises with IT teams.
• Produce ad hoc analyses for Group Finance and IT.
• Validate IT purchase requests against the budget.

• Liaise with Finance on recurring and ad hoc requests.

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Finance Department, you will work within the Business Control division and under the functional responsibility of the Global DSI & Transformation Department.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

1. Ensuring the follow up and monitoring of the IT cost base on a dedicated perimeter

• Establishing monthly consolidated reports of the IT costs for the shipping business unit
• Ensuring the intercompany recharging of the IT costs towards the subsidiaries
• Participating in the implementation of the budget and Forecast exercises in collaboration with the IT teams
• Carrying out ad hoc studies in response to requests from various Group departments (Finance & IT Department)
• Checking and validating the purchase requests of the IT department in accordance with the budget
• Preparing the investment committee dossiers notably the analysis of the project ROI in collaboration with the IT teams
• Interfacing with other Finance departments on recurring activities and ad ’hoc requests

2. Transformation and continuous improvement

• Contributing to the optimization and automation of the monthly closing processes
• Contributing to the improvement of the IT analytical structure and the digitalization of the reporting
• Working with the subsidiaries of the group on harmonized and standardized IT reports

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Master’s degree in finance or engineering with strong financial skills
• Confirmed experience of roughly 10 years in a similar role, or in Audit
• Comfortable with computer tools, data processing, and reporting tools
• Excellent command of IT tools: Excel, SAP, BI, Power Point, Onestream, Sharepoint
• Good level of English
• Rigorous, organized, dynamic and autonomous
• Strong analytical skills and confirmed experience in transformation topics in an international environment
