Job summary

Adisseo seeks an experienced European Patent Attorney to protect the Group's innovations. You will advise on confidentiality, patent strategy, and IP agreements, while managing portfolio development and external counsel.

The role emphasizes chemistry and biotechnology expertise, with responsibilities spanning patent drafting, oppositions, and worldwide prosecution in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified European Patent Attorney with legal and technical background.
• Minimum five years of professional IP experience.
• Strong dual expertise in Organic Chemistry and Biotechnology (biocatalysis, strain engineering).

Responsibilities

• Identify patentable innovations with R&I and other teams.
• Conduct patentability searches in chemistry/biotech.
• Draft patent applications and coordinate with inventors.
• Perform Freedom to Operate, validity and non-infringement analyses under European and French law.
• Provide practical IP advice to stakeholders and manage external counsel.
