PNO Innovation in Lyon is seeking a Senior Innovation Consultant to support industrial clients in identifying and securing R&D funding, including tax credits and public grants. You will manage a portfolio of clients, analyze projects, and prepare technical and financial documentation.

Fluent French and professional English are required, with 4–6 years in innovation funding, CIR/CII experience is a plus. Hybrid work: 3 days in office in Lyon, 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in innovation funding, R&D tax credits or grants.
• Proven ability to write and structure funding applications.
• Background in engineering, industry, energy, chemistry or related fields.
• Experience working with industrial clients.
• Fluent French and professional English (B2+).
• Experience with CIR/CII is a strong advantage.

We are looking for a Senior Innovation Consultant to join our team in Lyon and work with industrial clients on a wide range of funding opportunities, including R&D tax incentives and public grants.

Your mission

You will support innovative companies in identifying, structuring, and securing funding for their R&D activities. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will contribute to building strong client relationships and supporting business growth.

What we’re looking for

• Around 4–6 years of experience in innovation funding, R&D tax credit, or grants
• Strong experience in writing and structuring funding applications
• Background in engineering, industry, energy, chemistry, or similar
• Experience working with industrial clients
• A client-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
• Fluent French (mandatory) and professional English (B2+)

Experience with CIR/CII is a strong advantage, but we are open to candidates with broader funding experience.
