Job summary

Blockchain is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer in Paris to join a global crypto security team. You will design and implement security controls across product, platform, and cloud environments, and help scale automation for rapid threat detection and response.

You will collaborate with SRE and engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines, build automated tooling, and drive secure design reviews.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of security engineering, platform security, or DevSecOps experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing security controls and automation in cloud environments (GCP/AWS preferred).
• Proficiency in scripting and IaC (Python, Bash, Go, Terraform).
• Ability to translate security requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
• Strong collaboration with engineering teams and CI/CD integration experience.
• Bias toward automation and proactive security posture improvements.
• Familiarity with Cloudflare, SIEM tools, and incident management platforms.
• Experience with at least one CI/CD system (GitHub Actions, Concourse, CircleCI).
• Experience maintaining HIDS systems (Wazuh).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement security controls, automation, and processes across product, platform, and infrastructure environments.
• Identify security gaps and drive engineering initiatives to close them.
• Collaborate with SRE and engineering to integrate security into CI/CD and cloud-native architectures.
• Build automated tooling to enforce secure configurations and compliance.
• Assist in threat modeling, design reviews, and architectural assessments.
• Contribute to internal security documentation and developer guidance.
• Participate in security incident response when needed.
• AI-Driven Innovation: embed AI utilities and LLM agents into secure infrastructure.
