Job summary

Bull, a leader in HPC, AI and mission-critical digital infrastructures, seeks a Senior High-Performance Storage Architect to join the SDA team. You will own storage topics across the bid lifecycle and design scalable, cost-efficient storage for multi-petabyte HPC/AI environments.

You will work with compute, networking and partners to deliver winning proposals, produce sizing studies and architecture documents, and defend storage architectures in executive presentations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, sizing, and technical validation of storage solutions for HPC and AI opportunities.
• Design large-scale distributed storage infrastructures capable of supporting demanding scientific and AI workloads.
• Evaluate and select the most appropriate technologies from Bull's strategic ecosystem of storage partners.
• Define storage architectures leveraging parallel filesystems, flash technologies, and NVMe-over-Fabrics solutions.
• Optimize end-to-end I/O performance through advanced technologies such as GPUDirect Storage and NVMe-oF.
• Collaborate with compute, networking, and solution architects to ensure overall platform coherence and performance. Produce technical sizing studies, architecture documentation, and solution design recommendations.
• Contribute to technical proposal development and support commercial competitiveness.
• Participate in customer workshops, technical discussions, and architecture reviews.
• Defend proposed solutions during oral presentations with C-level executives, research institutions, government agencies, and defense organizations.
• Maintain strong relationships with strategic technology partners and monitor market innovations.
