Job summary

Lithosquare in Paris seeks a Senior Software Engineer (Python/TypeScript) to design, build, and maintain the Geology OS powering autonomous AI-driven exploration tools. The role combines frontend (React) and backend (Python) with cloud platforms and modern architectures.

You will work with AI engineers and geologists to deploy agentic AI, 3D modeling, and automated reporting, while operating in a flexible remote policy and a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
• Deep expertise in Python and React development.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• AI implementation experience, including LLM-powered features and agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect the Geology OS: design, implement, and maintain full-stack components and services.
• Build advanced interfaces: develop high-quality UI with React, integrating cartography and 3D visualization.
• Engineer robust back-end APIs: develop Python-based services and RESTful APIs.
• Integrate agentic AI: deploy AI features like contextual chat, AI-driven 3D model generation, and report generation.
• Collaborate across profiles to deliver end-to-end features from database to UI.
• Lead technical design decisions for front-end and back-end systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code for client and server.
