Exponentiel AI in Paris is seeking a Senior Gen AI Quality Engineer to safeguard the quality of AI-powered solutions, including GenAI models, platform services, and APIs. You will balance manual and automated testing across UI and backend components, collaborating with Engineering and Product teams to raise product reliability.

The role requires hands-on testing mastery with Playwright, Jira, and Xray, plus strong knowledge of AI prompts and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years in IT with at least 4 years in testing SaaS or web-based applications.
• Strong background in manual and automated testing, including test case design and defect management.
• Expertise in crafting prompts for generative AI models and prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Agile Collaboration: Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative development processes.
• Test Design & Execution: Develop and execute test cases for new features, encompassing both manual and automated testing across UI and APIs.
• Cross-functional Collaboration:Act as a feature owner, collaborating closely with Engineering, Product Management, and other departments to ensure product quality.
• Automation & Tools Mastery: Utilize test management systems such as Jira, Xray, and automation frameworks like Playwright to execute and track tests.
• Comprehensive Testing: Conduct front-end and back-end testing through APIs and user interfaces, ensuring robust performance.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, and verify defects, ensuring a smooth resolution and high product quality.
• Automation Development: Enhance automation scripts and frameworks, contributing to ongoing improvements.
• Data-Driven Insights: Analyze software quality metrics to drive improvements and optimize product reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 years in the IT industry with at least 4 years in testing SaaS or web-based applications.
• Strong background in both manual and automated testing, including test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Expertise in crafting prompts for generative AI models, prompt engineering, and ensuring the contextual accuracy of AI outputs.
• Proficiency with Playwright and other automation frameworks, as well as experience with API and database testing.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working in diverse teams.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Azure DevOps, and other collaboration tools.
• Experience in document management systems or other applications used in legal and enterprise settings.
• Knowledge of performance monitoring tools such as New Relic.
