Akeneo is seeking a product engineer who treats engineering as a means to a business outcome, not an end in itself. You will work across product lines to ship data-driven solutions that power activation and ARR, building on a cloud-native stack with Node, React and Next on Google Cloud Platform.

You will mentor engineers, drive trade-off decisions in ambiguous scenarios, and partner with product, design and commercial teams to deliver measurable impact across the platform and customers.

Qualifications

• Has a strong focus on product outcomes and data-driven decisions.
• Able to navigate loosely defined problems and drive shipped results.
• Demonstrates cross-functional influence across product, design and commercial teams.
• Mentors engineers and raises the bar on engineering practices and reliability.
• Experience with serverless architectures in large-scale environments is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Define and influence what is built using product, usage, and commercial metrics.
• Make trade-offs and explain decisions, including what was sacrificed and why.
• Collaborate with product, design and stakeholders across multiple product lines to ship impactful solutions.
• Architect and build scalable, serverless software on GCP using Node/React/Next.
• Mentor teammates and elevate the team's standards and practices.
