Five9 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain frontend solutions for our digital initiatives. You will build scalable React components, ensure accessibility, and partner with product teams to bring ideas to production.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to the component library, and advance frontend practices across the Nimbus platform. A strong emphasis on performance, testing, and collaboration with designers is key.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post‑internship experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in semantic HTML, CSS (SCSS), and JavaScript.
• Experience with component libraries, design systems, and design tokens.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong expertise in WCAG guidelines.
• Experience with frontend tooling and migration (Vite, Codemod).
• Experience with testing (RTL, Enzyme, Cypress).
• Experience collaborating with designers using Figma.
• Excellent English communication, proactive collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline.

Responsabilités

• Build reusable, responsive components for our design system and web apps.
• Maintain design tokens, bootloader, and codemods with Nimbus and design teams.
• Improve React component library with current frontend practices.
• Implement CI/CD tests and publish component library improvements.
• Collaborate with design, product, UI architects, and frontend peers.
• Promote standards and best practices for scalable, maintainable code.
• Mentor teammates with code reviews and knowledge sharing.
