IOTA GROUP is seeking an FPSO 3D Model Specialist to coordinate, review, and follow the project model across engineering, fabrication, and handover phases.

The role emphasizes quality, constructability, and operability, with responsibilities including model reviews, clash detection, and reporting on progress and risks. Location Paris, France, with a 24-month duration and start in December 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in 3D model coordination on FPSO projects.
• Significant FPSO project experience during detailed engineering, fabrication preparation, integration, or execution phases.
• Strong understanding of 3D model review processes, clash detection, and interdisciplinary coordination.
• Knowledge of FPSO engineering deliverables, topsides layouts, piping arrangements, equipment layouts, safety studies, and model-based design workflows.
• Good command of 3D review and engineering tools.
• Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Fluent English is mandatory; French would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up the project 3D model across engineering phases.
• Lead interdisciplinary 3D model reviews and organize comment resolution.
• Review models for inconsistencies, clashes, and constructability issues.
• Coordinate review comments with discipline engineers until close-out.
• Ensure interfaces between disciplines and FPSO areas are reflected in the model.
• Monitor model maturity, review cycles, and progress.
• Support layout reviews for process, utilities, E&I, safety, piping, structures, and offshore interfaces.
• Challenge model maturity from fabrication and commissioning readiness perspective.
• Prepare review reports, comment registers, clash reports, action logs, progress updates.
• Provide regular reporting on model status, risks, priorities and outstanding actions.
