Empiric is seeking a Senior FPGA Platform Migration Engineer to lead a major migration from Xilinx Zynq-7000 to Zynq UltraScale+ across the full prototyping flow.

Hybrid work in Nice, France on a 6 month rolling contract. You will own FPGA implementation, RTL integration, and platform constraints, coordinating hardware and software migration end-to-end.

This role requires autonomous problem solving, deep FPGA know-how, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition.

Qualifications

• Proven FPGA design, implementation, or ASIC/SoC prototyping experience.
• Strong Verilog/SystemVerilog and RTL integration skills.
• Experience with TCL, Python, and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of Xilinx Zynq PS, PetaLinux, BSP generation, and device trees.

Responsabilités

• Migrate FPGA prototyping platform from Zynq-7000 to Zynq UltraScale+.
• Ensure hardware, software, and implementation flow work on new architecture.
• Collaborate on platform requirements and evaluation matrices.
• Address DDR/PCIe/Ethernet/clock/power/high-speed interfaces constraints.
