Databricks is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer – Full stack to work in Paris, France. You will own architecture, lead design decisions, and implement end-to-end systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development, delivering production-grade solutions for customers on the Databricks platform.

This hands-on, customer-facing role requires adaptability, curiosity, and a passion for solving complex problems with measurable impact.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
• Proficient in Python, Scala, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with two or more cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP), with expertise in at least one.
• Deep experience with Apache Spark and Spark internals.
• CI/CD for production deployments.
• Knowledge of MLOps and ML/AI models.
• Design and deployment of production data architectures and apps.
• Experience delivering technical projects with defined scope and timelines.
• Documentation and white-boarding skills.
• Experience working with enterprise clients and stakeholder management.
• Willingness to travel ~20%.
• Databricks Certification.

Responsabilités

• Deliver production-grade systems and reference architectures for customers.
• Guide end-to-end design and deployment of big data and AI solutions.
• Bootstrap or implement customer projects with strong customer empathy.
• Lead architecture decisions ensuring security and scalability.
• Collaborate with engineering, PM, and customer teams to deliver engagements.
• Provide product feedback to guide improvements.
• Embed with customer teams from ICs to executives to understand challenges.
• Develop accelerators and reusable assets to scale across accounts.
