Arm is seeking a Principal Software Engineer in Sophia Antipolis to lead a firmware team and drive the evolution of Arm’s AI-ready software ecosystem. You will guide architecture, collaborate across distributed teams, and shape software stacks for Arm reference platforms.

The role requires expertise in embedded C, Linux development, and experience with open-source projects such as Linux kernel, TF-A/TF-M, UEFI EDK II, and OpenBMC.

Qualifications

• Experience and skills for people management including recruiting, mentoring and team-building.
• Strong background in embedded C programming with debugging and optimization skills.
• Expertise in Linux development, OS fundamentals, device drivers and kernel modules, plus computer architecture concepts.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership and line management to a firmware team.

• Analyze industry specs and roadmaps, break down tasks, and support project plans.
