Ubisoft Paris seeks a senior financial controller to drive consolidation, budgeting, and financial analysis for a major brand. You will partner with CFO, producers, and PMs to shape strategy, quantify risk, and translate plans into actionable budgets.

You will lead quarterly reviews, monitor external costs and full P&L, and push process improvements using PowerBI and AI tools in a dynamic, multicultural studio.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in management control or financial analysis in a multi-site environment, ideally with exposure to game production.
• Strong command of consolidation and financial analysis of statements and production-based reporting.
• Solid knowledge of Excel and PowerBI.
• Excellent analytical skills and rigor.
• Autonomous leadership, effective communication, and stakeholder buy-in.
• Comfortable collaborating with non-financial stakeholders to address constraints.
• Able to communicate in English in a multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of the video game industry is a plus.

Job Description

• Financial consolidation and analysis for one of Ubisoft's major brands:

  • In close collaboration with the business unit's CFO, the senior producer, and the project management team: you will contribute to the development of the brand's strategy and business models by producing recommendations, scenarios, and quantified risk assessments.

  • Analysis and reporting: team workload plans (staffing) and their budgetary translation, monitoring and optimization of external costs, co-devs, full P&L in connection with the business, and any other ad hoc requests, all while taking into account the group's financial constraints.

  • Supporting and facilitating milestone meetings or any other project reviews (Studio, Business Unit, HQ, etc.), acting as the project's financial representative to the group's financial bodies or any other function involved.

• Quarterly budget review process, monthly tracking of actuals within the scope (projects and their impact on the studio), in compliance with the set budgetary framework.

• Supporting the spread of financial culture within the brand's projects.

• Contributing to the improvement of processes and tools with the aim of better equipping management in its financial tracking and decision-making, particularly via PowerBI and/or with the help of agentic AI.

The current organization, certain assignments, and our stakeholders may evolve as the group's ongoing transformation progresses.

Qualifications

• You have significant experience in management control or financial analysis, ideally within a multi-site environment and ideally with exposure to game production;

• You have a strong command of financial and accounting techniques: consolidation, financial analysis of accounting statements, financial reporting within a production environment;

• You have solid knowledge of Excel and PowerBI;

• You demonstrate strong analytical skills and rigor;

• You are comfortable leading your topics autonomously, communicating effectively, and convincing your stakeholders;

• You are comfortable exchanging and collaborating with non-financial stakeholders, showing pragmatism and the ability to find compromises that address multiple constraints;

• You can communicate in English with your non-French-speaking peers and are comfortable in a multicultural environment;

• Knowledge of the video game industry and the financial models of its players would be a plus.
