Thunes seeks a Senior Finance Analyst – Europe to support financial management, reporting, and regulatory submissions across Thunes' European entities, including TPAS and Limonetik. You will collaborate with the Accounting Operations team in Manila to ensure timely and accurate financial information to drive growth and compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in finance or audit, IFRS knowledge, and strong Excel skills. English is required; French is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Support monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare month-end journals and financial schedules.
• Review accounting outputs from Accounting Operations and assist with intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare management reports and flux analyses; monitor aging and outstanding items.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting submissions and statutory financial statements.
• Support internal and external audits and drive process improvements.

Context of the Role

The Senior Finance Analyst – Europe will support the Finance Reporting & Compliance Lead in the financial management, reporting, financial control, statutory compliance and regulatory reporting activities for Thunes' European entities, including TPAS and Limonetik.

The role will work closely with the Accounting Operations team in Manila to ensure the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial information while supporting the continued growth of Thunes' European operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting and Compliance
• Support the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process
• Review accounting outputs from Accounting Operations
• Prepare month-end journals where required
• Prepare financial schedules and management reports
• Perform flux analysis and investigate unusual movements
• Support preparation of Group reporting packages
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations
• Review aging reports and outstanding reconciling items
• Monitor intercompany balances
• Ensure compliance with Group accounting policies.
• Support internal control improvements
• Regulatory & Statutory Reporting
• Support preparation of regulatory reporting submissions.
• Assist with statutory financial statements
• Coordinate supporting information for regulatory reporting
• Maintain reporting documentation and audit evidence
• Support internal and external audits (including statutory and regulatory audits)
• Coordinate information requests
• Work with external advisors where required
• Accounting Operations oversight

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
• At least 5 years' experience in finance, accounting or audit
• Experience within fintech, payments, banking or financial services preferred
• Working knowledge of IFRS
• Experience supporting month-end close
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced Excel
• Experience working with shared service centre is desirable
• English required; French is an advantage.
