Job summary

Infosys seeks a Principal AI Architect to lead enterprise-scale AI and Generative AI transformations. The role focuses on defining strategy, designing scalable AI architectures, and guiding deployment across cloud and hybrid environments for logistics and transportation initiatives.

The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders to shape AI roadmaps, select models, and govern responsible AI practices, while mentoring engineering teams and advancing adoption across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on AI/ML and analytics experience.
• Proven experience implementing Generative AI solutions in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI & LLMs, RAG frameworks, AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, and Vector Databases.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver enterprise AI and Generative AI architecture.
• Design solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and multimodal AI capabilities.
• Evaluate, select, and implement AI models (open-source and commercial).
• Establish AI governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI frameworks.
• Lead AI deployments across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Partner with business and tech leaders to identify high-value AI use cases.
• Drive AI innovation through PoCs to production deployments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
