Ubique Systems is seeking an experienced Software/Data Engineer to join our IT team supporting Energy Market Analysis. You will develop data platforms, data pipelines, applications, and analytical tools used by the business daily.

The role requires strong expertise in Python, AWS, Big Data technologies, data engineering, and software architecture, with hands-on experience building scalable data solutions for trading teams.

Qualifications

• English: Expert level / 10+ years of professional experience.
• AWS: Advanced - approximately 5-8 years.
• Python 3: Advanced - approximately 5-8 years.
• Big Data Architecture & Technologies: Advanced - approximately 5-8 years.
• Software Architecture & Design Patterns: Confirmed - approximately 3-5 years.
• Analytical and synthesis skills: Advanced - approximately 5-8 years.
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach: Advanced - approximately 5-8 years.

Responsabilités

• Develop and enhance data platforms and data pipelines.
• Collect data from different sources and perform data ingestion, processing, transformation, and reporting.
• Work with large volumes of market and fundamental data.
• Develop decision-support applications and analytical tools for business and trading teams.
• Improve the performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of existing applications and data platforms.
• Perform bug fixing, maintenance, and technical support for existing applications.
• Implement new business requirements and continuously improve existing solutions.
• Work closely with business users to understand their needs and convert them into technical solutions.
• Provide user support and troubleshoot application/data-related issues.
• Ensure solutions are delivered quickly while maintaining good quality and reliability.
• Contribute to software architecture, design, and development best practices.
