Veranovia seeks an experienced Employee Assistance Professional to lead counseling programs and ensure high-quality care for employees across inpatient and outpatient settings. A Master’s degree and relevant CA licensure are preferred.

The role includes designing EAP policies, supervising managers, and providing guidance to leadership on behavioral health strategies while maintaining rigorous documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; CA licensure in social work or psychology often preferred.
• CA Licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) or, CA Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT/LMFT) or, a licensed psychologist in CA (PhD).
• Excellent communication skills to interact with staff and faculty.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Manages, designs, and implements policies and procedures relating to a company's Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
• Ensures that inpatient and outpatient counseling and care facilities meet company standards.
• Provides training to management for dealing with medical and behavioral problems.
• Provides counseling to employees in the program.
• Typically reports to top management.
• Typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity.
• Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
