Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer in Marseille to lead electrical design studies for power and data systems. You will collaborate with project managers and architects, prepare load calculations, and generate BIM drawings and specifications.

The role involves evaluating bids and supporting site supervision to ensure compliance and quality. Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in engineering, a degree in Electrical Engineering, and fluency in French with professional English.

Job Responsibilities

• Work on power (high-current) and low-current (data/communications) electrical systems for design management and technical engineering assignments.
• Carry out technical design studies in liaison with the project manager and in coordination with architects.
• Prepare load calculations, size installations, produce written specifications and create BIM drawings/models.
• Estimate the scope and cost of work for your packages and analyze contractors' bids.
• Assist the Project Manager during site supervision to verify the technical compliance of the works.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years' professional experience in the field, preferably within an engineering firm.
• Autonomous and rigorous.
• Curious and open-minded.
• Knowledge of lifting equipment, fire safety regulations (ERP) and industry calculation software (CANECO, DIALUX, etc.).
• Languages: Fluent French and professional working proficiency in English.
