Infinite Orbits PTE Ltd. in Toulouse seeks a Junior Satellite Electrical Power Engineer to assist in the design, analysis, integration, and testing of spacecraft electrical power subsystems (EPS).

You will collaborate with systems, avionics, thermal, mechanical, and AIT teams to develop reliable power architectures, including solar arrays, batteries, power distribution units, and power conditioning electronics. A foundational electrical background and teamwork mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of electrical circuits, analog and digital electronics.
• Embedded systems fundamentals.
• Familiarity with engineering analysis and simulation tools.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

Junior Satellite Electrical Power Engineer

Established in 2017, Infinite Orbits is a NewSpace company, based in Toulouse, pushing the boundaries of in-orbit services with cutting‑edge spacecraft driven by its own Rendez‑Vous solution, an advanced Autonomous Vision‑Based Navigation Solution. IO has two generations of missions

"Orbit Guard" provides Inspection and Space Situational Awareness services in GEO.

"Endurance" is a docking service capable of extending the life of GEO telecom satellites, by taking over AOCS takeover for 5 years.

About the Role

The Junior Satellite Electrical Power Engineer supports the design, analysis, integration, and testing of spacecraft electrical power systems for satellite missions. This role involves working with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop reliable and efficient power architectures including solar arrays, batteries, power distribution units, and power conditioning electronics.

The position is suited for early‑career engineers with foundational knowledge in electrical engineering and an interest in spacecraft systems, power electronics, and satellite operations.

Job Description

Assist in the design and development of spacecraft electrical power subsystems (EPS).
