Job summary

Voyage Privé is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own and improve the reliability, scalability, security and architecture of our production infrastructure across cloud and hybrid environments. You will lead initiatives to enhance availability and performance while controlling costs.

In this role you will operate Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and cloud foundations, implement infrastructure as code, and drive incident response and post-mortems.

Qualifications

Senior expertise operating business-critical distributed systems.
Production experience with Kubernetes, Linux, and networking.
Cloud or hybrid infrastructure experience with Infrastructure as Code.
Proven incident leadership and systematic troubleshooting across application and infrastructure layers.
Experience with observability, high availability, capacity, backup/recovery and operational automation.
Ability to script or program in Python, Go, Shell or equivalent language.
Sound architecture judgment across reliability, security, cost, scalability and simplicity.
Clear English communication (B2+; C1 preferred).

Responsibilities

Ensure reliability, availability, performance and operability of production infrastructure.

Manage infrastructure through reusable, reviewable code and automate repetitive operational work.

Lead or support incident response, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Strengthen high availability, backup, recovery and disaster-recovery readiness.
Partner with engineering, security and business stakeholders on production readiness and technical risk.
Mentor peers, document decisions and raise operational standards across teams.
Participate in on-call after a progressive onboarding and readiness validation.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Demonstrated senior expertise operating business-critical distributed systems; no minimum tenure is required.
Deep production experience with Kubernetes/containers, Linux and networking.
Strong cloud or hybrid infrastructure experience and Infrastructure as Code expertise.
Proven incident leadership and systematic troubleshooting across application and infrastructure layers.
Experience with observability, high availability, capacity, backup/recovery and operational automation.
Ability to script or program in Python, Go, Shell or an equivalent language.
Sound architecture judgment across reliability, security, cost, scalability and simplicity.
Clear English communication (B2+; C1 preferred), strong ownership and collaborative influence.

Nice to have

Experience with GCP, AWS or Azure at scale; hybrid/on-prem environments; OpenTelemetry; resilience or chaos testing; FinOps; Kafka, Redis and relational databases; high-traffic e-commerce, travel, marketplace, fintech or SaaS platforms.
Experience mentoring engineers or influencing architecture as a senior individual contributor.
