Proton is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to scale our CI/CD infrastructure and ensure security across on‑prem and cloud environments. You’ll work with Kubernetes, GitLab CI, and ArgoCD while enhancing GitOps workflows and cluster state management.

Qualifications

• Strong Kubernetes experience, tuning and troubleshooting on-prem Linux under real load.
• Hands-on CI/CD background, GitLab CI is a plus.
• GitOps in practice, ideally with ArgoCD.
• Software development skills in Python, Golang or Rust for tooling purposes.
• Configuration management with Ansible and/or Terraform.
• Security mindset grounded in DevSecOps practices, supply chain security is a plus.
• Excellent cross-team communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale CI/CD infrastructure handling tens of thousands of jobs daily and growing.
• Deepen GitOps workflows built on ArgoCD and manage cluster state across environments.
• Advance supply chain security posture with SAST and artifact attestation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure problems across network, application, and system layers.
