• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of experience as DevOps/Cloud Engineer or in SaaS operations.
• Hands-on experience managing sandbox or customer environments.
• Strong knowledge of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with automation and orchestration: Python, Bash, or Ansible.
• Experience in IAM, access workflows, and resource tagging.
• Understanding SaaS subscription models and billing mechanics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration, English proficiency.
• Nice-to-have: CI/CD experience and cloud cost optimization.

Responsabilidades

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer based in France.

Join a Cloud Product Operations team supporting a leading platform for electronic agreements. In this senior role, you will take ownership of customer sandbox environments, ensuring they remain secure, scalable, and cost-efficient. You will design and implement automated solutions for environment provisioning, access management, resource lifecycle policies, and subscription tiering. Your work will help optimize cloud resource consumption while maintaining compliance with organizational policies and licensing agreements. Working closely with Product, Support, and Engineering teams, you will improve operational workflows and help deliver reliable customer experiences. Accountabilities

• Design and implement automated policies governing customer access to sandbox environments, including timed evictions and automatic teardown, to improve resource efficiency and maintain security and compliance.

• Architect and automate the provisioning, assignment, and decommissioning of sandbox environments, ensuring customer usage aligns with organizational policies and licensing agreements.

• Develop and maintain a resource-tagging strategy for sandboxes and associated cloud resources to support tracking, billing, and auditing.

• Build automation and tooling to enable dynamic upgrades and downgrades of customer subscription tiers, including controls for feature access and sandbox capacity.

• Create dashboards, monitoring systems, and alerts to track sandbox usage, identify quota breaches, notify relevant users, and provide customers and administrators with actionable usage insights.

• Collaborate with Product, Support, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, improve operational processes, and integrate new product features into DevOps workflows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or in Product Operations within SaaS environments.

• Hands-on experience managing sandbox or epistemic environments for external customers.

• Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Practical experience with automation and orchestration technologies, including Python, Bash, or Ansible.

• Experience designing resource-tagging strategies, IAM policies, and automated user-access workflows.

• Good understanding of SaaS subscription models, billing mechanisms, and service-tier management.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with professional proficiency in English.

• Familiarity with cloud cost optimization and environment security best practices is an advantage.

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines is considered a plus.
