Ruby Labs Ltd is seeking a Senior Desktop Engineer to lead the development of an innovative cross-platform desktop product. This pivotal role encompasses everything from the Electron architecture to native code integration in Swift and C++.

Working remotely, you will be responsible for ensuring top-notch application performance and reliability while engaging in continuous improvement and feature delivery across macOS and Windows platforms.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years building and shipping Electron applications.
• Hands-on native macOS development in Swift and/or Objective-C.

Responsabilités

• Own the Electron architecture end to end.
• Build transparent, frameless overlay windows.
• Design a clean platform abstraction in TypeScript.
• Maintain the native layer and ensure integration.
• Own the release pipeline and crash reporting.
