Job summary

LSEG is seeking a motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our Analytics Center of Excellence in Paris on a 12-month fixed-term contract (CDD). You will design, develop, and deploy analytics models for private companies and sustainable finance, leveraging Python and SQL with Azure ML, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in finance/insurance, strong Python/SQL skills, and cloud experience, with English fluency and optional French language skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist, preferably 3+ years in finance or insurance sector.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
• Experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and familiarity with ML/LLM tools.
• Strong experience with machine learning in Python, SQL, Pandas, Numpy, Scikit Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Fluency in English; French language skills are a strong plus.
