Job summary

Forensic Risk Alliance in Paris, France, is seeking a Data Analytics Senior Associate to contribute to data-driven insights that inform regulatory outcomes and legal strategies.

You will work with sizable enterprise data across industries, leverage SQL, Python, and Power BI, and collaborate with investigators and legal teams on cross-border matters to produce auditable, defensible analytics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in data analytics or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python preferred).
• Experience handling large, complex datasets and deriving actionable insights.
• Strong academic background in a quantitative or analytical field.
• Experience developing analytics that are reproducible, traceable, and methodologically robust.
• Structured and rigorous approach with high attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive mindset, with ability to work independently and in small teams.

Responsibilities

• Design data workflows spanning data collection, ETL, analysis, visualization, and delivery across datasets.
• Apply advanced analytical techniques to identify patterns of fraud, corruption, misconduct, and financial crime.
• Implement workflows that are reproducible, auditable, and defensible under scrutiny.
• Work with complex enterprise data (ERP, transactional data, logs) to reconstruct events.
• Develop scalable analytical solutions using modern data tools and programming languages.
• Translate analytical outputs into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with investigators, forensic accountants, and legal teams on cross-border matters.
• Maintain rigorous documentation of data sources, transformations, and methodologies.
• Contribute to reusable tools, methodologies, and intellectual property.
