Part of something bigger
Today we're part of Cegid, a European leader in cloud software for finance and accounting. Together we're building Europe's leading financial copilot for small businesses and their accountants.
Shine already supports more than 400,000 small businesses. As part of Cegid, we now reach over one million small businesses and 15,000 accountants across Europe.
We're a multicultural team working from France, Germany, Denmark and the Netherlands, contributing to a wider European network that spans Spain, Portugal and Belgium.

Just as we respect our customers' time, we respect yours. Your experience with Shine and Cegid should feel simple, transparent and genuinely supportive.
If this sounds like somewhere you want to grow, we'd love to hear from you.

The Data team at Shine

Our Data team is organised into three complementary pillars: Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, and Analytics. The Analytics pillar is split into two teams: Product Analytics, working closely with our Product teams, and Revenue Analytics, partnering directly with the Business Unit leads in the Revenue org.

The Revenue Analytics function sits at the intersection of growth, customer acquisition, lifecycle management and commercial steering, as part of the Data Analytics team. You'll join the Revenue Analytics team, led by Saghar, our Analytics Manager, who heads a team of four data analysts and you'd be the fifth. This structure means you'll spend less time fixing broken pipelines and more time uncovering high-value insights

Your role as a Senior Data Analyst

What’s in it for you?

  • Direct Business Impact: Your work will directly shape how BU Managers and Country GMs steer revenue, churn, and growth decisions across markets, with clear visibility to senior leadership.

  • End-to-End Business Intelligence: From acquisition and activation to churn, retention, and revenue quality, you will own the analytical narrative for your BU scope, spanning marketing performance, product adoption, and commercial health.

  • Local Market Influence: You will partner closely with BU Managers and local marketing teams to understand country-specific dynamics and translate data into practical commercial decisions.

  • Strategic Growth Partnership: You will help shape budget allocation, campaign optimisation, funnel improvements and lifecycle opportunities based on robust analytical evidence.

  • A Mature Stack: Work with a modern data stack including Snowflake, dbt, Python and Omni, supported by a dedicated Analytics Engineering team.

  • A hybrid work policy: Enjoy a balanced mix of remote work and office collaboration.

  • Modern, centrally located offices: Work from modern office spaces in prime city locations.

  • An international environment: Join a diverse team with colleagues from across Europe.

  • Mobility across locations: Opportunity to work from our offices in Madrid, Copenhagen, Paris, Amsterdam or Berlin.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Business KPI Definition & Governance: Establish, define and maintain the core KPI framework for your BU scope, including revenue metrics, churn rate, activation, retention, payback, LTV and customer-quality metrics.

  • Steering Dashboards: Design and deliver actionable dashboards for BU Managers and Country GMs, enabling reliable performance steering across Germany and Spain.

  • Data Modelling & Collection: Build robust, scalable data models using SQL and dbt to support recurring and ad-hoc marketing analytics needs.

  • Project & Stakeholder Management: Lead analytical projects end-to-end, managing timelines, priorities and senior stakeholder expectations across local BUs, Marketing and Data.

  • Funnel & Conversion Analysis: Own the analytical view of the customer journey from first touch to activation, paying customer and retained user, identifying bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.

  • Customer Lifecycle Analytics: Analyse onboarding, activation, retention and lifecycle campaigns, helping local teams improve customer engagement and long‑term revenue quality.

  • Performance Marketing Analytics: Analyse paid and organic acquisition performance across channels, campaigns, audiences and markets, helping teams understand where growth is efficient and where optimisation is needed.

  • Experimentation & Incrementality: Support the design, measurement and interpretation of marketing experiments, including A/B tests, landing‑page tests, lifecycle tests and channel tests.

  • Cross-functional Connectivity: Bridge insights across Revenue, Product, Marketing, Finance and Customer Success, ensuring a unified view of customer acquisition, value creation and retention.
