InterDigital is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen enterprise security across infrastructure, cloud, applications, data, AI, and R&D environments. This role balances hands‑on engineering with forward‑looking security strategy and will report to the Sr Director, Head of Cybersecurity & Networking.

It requires leadership in security projects, governance, risk and compliance, and identity management, with collaboration across IT, R&D, engineering and business teams to improve

Qualifications

• Strong experience in cyber security engineering, enterprise security, cloud security, IAM, GRC, or infrastructure security.
• Expert knowledge of AI security concepts, identity and access management, network security, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, GSEC, GIAC, AWS/Azure Security or similar are preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement and maintain security solutions across enterprise, cloud, AI, IAM, and hybrid environments.
• Support GRC activities, including risk assessments, control validation, policy alignment, audits, and security framework adoption.
• Partner with IT, R&D, engineering, and business teams to identify risks and recommend practical security improvements.
• Support security reviews for R&D initiatives, AI-enabled systems, applications, platforms, and emerging technologies.
• Contribute to threat modeling, vulnerability management, incident response, identity governance, and access control improvements.
• Evaluate emerging threats, tools and technologies to improve InterDigital’s security posture.
• Develop security standards, architecture patterns, documentation and roadmap inputs.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership on security projects.
