Dematic is seeking a senior Controls Lead Engineer to own the Controls scope on complex customer projects across the EMEA region. You will lead the technical execution strategy, coordinate engineering resources, manage risks and act as the technical authority throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial automation environment.
• Strong Controls Engineering expertise with design validation.
• Experience leading engineering teams on complex customer projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coordinate the Controls Engineering scope across complex customer projects, ensuring delivery against objectives, quality standards, budget and schedule.
• Define the Controls Engineering execution strategy, resource requirements, milestones and readiness activities.
• Support sales and project handover with technical input, estimation, scheduling and capability identification.
• Develop and maintain detailed Controls Engineering design and commissioning programmes aligned with other disciplines.
• Act as primary Controls Engineering contact for PM, Site Management, Procurement, Manufacturing, Installation, commissioning and customers.
• Provide technical leadership to Controls Engineering teams through task Allocation and risk management.
• Own and coordinate key deliverables: FDS, DOO, BOMs, procurement plans, installation documentation, customer deliverables and technical docs.
• Ensure design quality gates, risk assessments, and safety validation at project stages.
• Ensure transfer of technical information to customers for installation and training.
• Maintain status reporting, resource plans, schedules and cost forecasts; escalate risks and changes.
• Coordinate interfaces with Mechanical, Structures and Installation for aligned solutions.
• Conduct on-site safety audits and identify installation requirements or corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement in Controls Engineering practices and scalable solutions.
• Mentor senior engineers and promote technical excellence.
