Dematic is seeking a Controls Hardware Engineer to design and deliver compliant electrical systems for our automated solutions. You will select control devices, document functionality, and create clear drawing packages for installation and assembly.

You bring proven experience in controls hardware or electrical design, a degree in electrical engineering, hands-on automation exposure, and proficiency with EPLAN, AutoCAD and MS Office. Willingness to travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Controls Hardware Engineer or in a similar role.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive hands-on experience in industrial automation.
• Experience with EPLAN, AutoCAD and MS Office/Packages.
• Understanding of electrical manuals and drawings; familiarity with Machinery Directive.
• Knowledge of distributed control systems and industrial networks.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsabilités

• Interpret design input information to produce control system designs.
• Ensure designs are CE compliant to the Machinery Directive.
• Produce design and manufacturing programmes.
• Create all related documentation including calculations, specifications, operation & maintenance manuals, and test specs.
• Design and produce electrical layout and schematic drawings using CAD tools.
• Procure electrical control panels and liaise with suppliers on technical matters.
• Provide technical backup to service teams and internal groups as required.
• Travel to customer sites within Northern Europe up to 20%.
