Allianz Commercial in Paris la Défense is seeking a Senior Underwriter Construction to lead profitable new and renewal business. You will negotiate terms with brokers, manage regional targets, and deploy industry-leading construction risk expertise across local and global teams.

Fluency in English and French is essential, with at least five years in underwriting engineering/construction lines. A hybrid work model and competitive package are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, Economics or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ proven underwriting experience in engineering lines and construction.
• Specialized understanding of LoB insurance markets and broker relations.
• Fluent English and French.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite profitable new and renewal business to meet regional targets.
• Negotiate terms, pricing and conditions with brokers; manage portfolio capacity.
• Underwrite Nat Cat accumulation and interpret catastrophe modeling.
• Contribute to regional underwriting strategy and development of risk solutions.
• Build and maintain trusted broker/client relationships and support cross-market collaboration.
• Ensure file administration and contract certainty for each risk.
