Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse, France, seeks a Communications & Connectivity Senior System Engineer to join the Comms Systems Architectures Team. You will deliver system engineering activities for airborne connectivity, oversee integration and certification, and support technical reviews with customers.

The role requires a degree in Engineering (PhD/Telecommunications preferred), strong knowledge of aircraft communications, and MBSD tools (Simulink, Matlab, CAMEO).

Qualifications

• Degree level in Engineering; PhD/Telecommunications preferred.
• Senior System Engineer with experience in Communications/Connectivity/Avionics.
• A/C and Comms Architecture knowledge on platforms (UAS, MRTT, C295, A400M) and certification processes.
• Familiar with Comms systems (Voice, IP/Digital, Tactical Datalinks) and cyber security implications for airborne platforms.
• Proficient in project management, requirements traceability (DOORS), Configuration Control; MBSD (Simulink, Matlab, CAMEO); strong problem solving; fluent English.

Responsabilités

• Deliver System Engineering Activities in Time, Cost and Quality, including Integration, Verification, Certification, and Security Accreditation.
• Participate in Technical Reviews (internal and external) and support Progress Review Meetings and Customer discussions.
• Capture Customer requirements to design, and ensure generation, follow-up, review and validation of design documentation.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineering Office, other Systems Work Packages, and COMMS Design Offices.
• Act with integrity and manage potential compliance risks as a foundation for the Company's success.
