Job summary

Finary SAS in Paris is seeking a Head of Compliance to lead the permanent control program across all regulatory licences in a fully regulated fintech environment. You will own the control plan, design tests, and ensure evidence-based findings are acted on by teams.

Based in Paris with hybrid work arrangement, you will work with data and AI tools to advance compliance efforts and automate where possible. Native French and professional English are required.

Qualifications

• Native-level French and professional English.
• Experience in regulatory controls or financial services.
• Proficient with data and AI tools for regulatory work.
• Ability to design tests, gather evidence, and make recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and French.
• Independent, self-driven problem solver with organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute the permanent control plan: about 40 controls a year, 3 to 5 days each, across all four licences.
• Design each test and run it yourself: population, sampling, test steps, evidence.
• Write findings and recommendations based on evidence, and review them with the teams concerned.
• Improve the control plan: update regulatory references, raise quality, run spot controls when needed.
• Follow every recommendation until it is closed: re-test, close gaps.
• Automate as much as possible: with data and AI tools, to focus time on judgement.
• Control only, by design: no operational tasks; pay based on quality and plan execution.
