Kalray is looking for a Senior Compiler Engineer to design, develop and optimize compiler technologies for Kalray's processor architectures. You will work at the intersection of hardware and software within the Toolchain team, ensuring high-performance, robust development tools.

You will contribute to GCC/LLVM-based toolchains, collaborate with hardware and software teams, and mentor junior engineers while driving open-source ecosystem involvement and continuous improvement of Kalray's software

Qualifications

• Proven experience with GCC and/or LLVM compiler infrastructure.
• 7+ years in compiler development or low-level software.
• Strong understanding of compiler internals, code generation, and optimization techniques.
• Strong programming skills in C and/or C++ within Linux-based environments.
• Familiarity with processor architectures and low-level software concepts.
• Excellent debugging and performance analysis skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and contribute to compiler and toolchain components across platforms.
• Develop, debug, test and optimize compiler, runtime and toolchain code.
• Collaborate with architecture, hardware, AI and software teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Contribute to open-source ecosystems and stay current with compiler technologies.
