Job summary

Leap29 is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to shape the company’s commercial strategy for its French market. You will lead negotiations on PPAs and related contracts, maximise value across a growing renewable energy portfolio, and collaborate with senior leadership, project development, finance, and legal teams.

You will drive commercial performance across solar PV, onshore wind, and battery energy storage.

Qualifications

Significant experience in commercial management, business development, or energy transactions.
Background in renewable energy, power generation, utilities, or energy trading.
Experience negotiating PPAs, offtake agreements, or other complex commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement commercial strategies to support growth across France.
Lead negotiations for PPAs, offtake agreements, and other key contracts.
Evaluate new project opportunities for commercial viability and risk.
Manage relationships with investors, utilities, energy traders, and strategic partners.
Oversee commercial due diligence and support financial modelling for investments.
Collaborate with project development, legal, and finance teams to structure transactions.
Identify new market opportunities and contribute to long-term business development.
Provide commercial insights and recommendations to senior management.
