Partner Company is seeking a Commercial Manager / Senior Commercial Manager based in France to oversee the commercial and contractual management of major hyperscale data centre construction projects across UK and Europe. You will manage budgets, forecasting, procurement, risk, and reporting to protect project value and drive commercial discipline.

Fluent English is required; MRICS is advantageous, and travel of ~25% to project sites across Europe is expected.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of forecasting, cash flow management, cost control, and profitability on complex construction projects or portfolios.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or related field; MRICS advantageous.
• Proven experience managing commercial performance of major construction projects to improve profitability.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, budgeting, CAPEX modelling, contract administration, procurement, forecasting, and change management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to work across regions/time zones.
• Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel ~25% to project sites.

Responsabilités

• Lead the commercial management of hyperscale data centre projects within budgets, timelines, and standards.
• Manage project budgets, CAPEX models, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Drive cost efficiency, value engineering, cost validation, benchmarking, and savings.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts, trend analyses, and scenario modelling for senior management.
• Manage commercial change throughout the project lifecycle per contracts and governance.
• Lead commercial risk management with live risk registers and mitigations.
• Oversee procurement and contract administration aligned with requirements.
• Manage final close-out: budget reconciliation and vendor settlements.
• Collaborate with Development, Construction, Design, Finance, Operations to align priorities.
• Monitor market conditions, cost indices, and regulatory developments to inform strategies.
• Provide hands-on commercial leadership and drive process improvements.
