Jobtailor in Nice, France seeks a Contract Manager with 5+ years in contract management, including change control, to own main and sub-contract terms for complex projects in the defence/aerospace sector.

You will support sales, guide commercial strategy across project cycles, coordinate insurance and bank guarantees, and ensure compliance and timely communications.

Travel as required; fluent English is mandatory; a law degree is required, and you must be organized and proactive.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in contract management with change control.
• Experience handling main and subcontracts.
• Experience in contract negotiations and claims.
• Military/Defence/Aerospace industry experience preferred.
• Experience with client contracts in Europe, UK, Middle East.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsabilités

• Own main and sub-contracts terms and conditions.
• Support sales with proposals and quotations.
• Lead end-to-end contract management across projects.
• Plan contract kick-off meetings.
• Advise delivery teams on commercial strategy and variations.
• Coordinate insurance and bank guarantees with Finance.
• Ensure compliance and signatory powers.
• Close out contracts and notify parties as required.
• Assist in arbitration and conflict management.
• Handover from Sales to Project and start-up support.
