Semtech Corporation in Toulouse is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Engineer, Full-Stack and Operations to join our Toulouse team. In this role, you will be a key technical contributor across the full lifecycle of our Cloud Platform — from solution design and hands-on development through to live operations and on-call support.

Your focus will lean towards the backend: account management systems, back-office tooling, and the operational reliability of the services our customers rely on.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of experience in application software development.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS.
• Experience developing and operating microservices in a cloud environment, ideally on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Java-based development.
• Experience working in continuous delivery, agile environments with a strong culture of automated testing.

Responsabilités

• Contributing significantly to application solution design and to the high-level architecture of Cloud Platform software.
• Working on detailed design, coding, and testing — delivering robust application software alongside comprehensive automated test coverage.
• Planning Cloud Platform development projects within a team environment: creating and managing tasks in the engineering task management system, recording time accurately, and tracking completion against commitments.
• Supporting the Cloud Platform through proactive troubleshooting, defect resolution, operational improvements, and minor enhancements.
• Documenting application design clearly and thoroughly within the collaboration documentation system.
• Supporting live operations of the Cloud Platform as part of the on-call rotation.
