GE Vernova seeks a Senior Civil Technology Specialist to own civil engineering standards, DRDs, and system guidelines, integrating turbine and generator tech into site infrastructure on global projects.

This senior role provides technical leadership without direct reports, involving international travel and collaboration with Civil Technology Specialists, project teams, and external partners. You will mentor engineers and contribute to risk reviews across GE Vernova's worldwide projects.

Qualifications

Master Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
10+ years senior civil engineering experience in large-scale EPC oil & gas or power plant projects.
Expertise across structural dynamics, earthquake engineering, geotechnical engineering, soil improvement, deep foundations, concrete technology, foundation engineering, deep excavations, civil/design/structural/steel construction.
Experience as a technical expert on civil design standards or specifications, acknowledged by peers.

Responsabilités

Serve as department technical expert for Civil Technology standards and DRDs.
Review and validate complex civil design packages from external partners.
Guide technical governance with Civil subcontractors (non-contractual).
Mentor Civil Technology Specialists and Civil Engineers worldwide without formal supervision.
Lead risk reviews and identify corrective actions at the department level.
