Job summary

Wiley|Wilson seeks a Civil Engineer with 6–10 years of related design experience to grow with a dynamic team. Position available in Richmond, Raleigh, Lynchburg, or Alexandria and involves land development and infrastructure design for federal/state clients.

The role includes site development, stormwater management, permitting, and utility design; you will mentor junior engineers, support proposals, and work across markets with opportunities for travel.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree required.
• Registered Professional Engineer in Virginia or North Carolina, or eligible for reciprocity within 3 months.
• 6–10 years of civil engineering experience in land development and site design.
• Ability to work on Federal/state/local government projects and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design land development and infrastructure projects for government clients.
• Lead site development, stormwater management, permitting, and utility design.
• Mentor junior engineers and support proposal efforts.
• Contribute from concept through construction documents and construction administration.
