The Emerald Group in Europe is seeking an experienced Senior Casualty Facultative Underwriter to join an international team with opportunities across Prague, Munich, or Paris. You will own and develop a profitable non-life facultative Casualty portfolio across core European markets.

Responsibilities include disciplined underwriting, portfolio growth, and serving as the primary liaison for clients while leveraging strong market knowledge and regulatory awareness. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in facultative or single-risk Casualty underwriting.
Experience in Marine Underwriting is an advantage.
Strong command of English, written and spoken.
Willingness to travel as required.
Broad market experience across international markets and regulatory environments.
Proven track record in profitable underwriting and portfolio development.

Responsabilités

Build and develop a profitable non-life facultative Casualty portfolio across Europe.
Drive growth through disciplined underwriting and portfolio development.
Serve as the primary contact for clients and partners in designated markets.
Lead analysis, evaluation, negotiation, and binding of facultative reinsurance.
