Ekimetrics is seeking a Senior Business Scientist to bridge business, consulting, AI and data expertise within our Data & AI Transformation Services. You will frame high-value AI opportunities, drive adoption, and lead cross-functional squads alongside AI and software engineers.

You will collaborate with sponsors and ExCo to align AI roadmaps, own delivery governance, and contribute to transformative client engagements, ensuring measurable business value and Responsible AI governance.

Qualifications

• Senior level: you have already led client engagements, coordinated a team and contributed to business development.
• Hybrid business-tech profile: you can connect business value, data, AI/GenAI, technology and adoption, and talk credibly with both sponsors and engineers.
• Proven product ownership experience on data or AI products (backlog, prioritization, agile delivery).
• Experience facing senior stakeholders and driving change or transformation, beyond the delivery of pilots.

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day relationships with sponsors and understand strategic and operational challenges.
• Frame high-value Data & AI use cases and translate business needs into AI opportunities, from ambition to MVP.
• Act as Data & AI Product Owner: own product vision, backlog, prioritization, and governance.
• Coordinate business sides of the squad and monitor delivery and profitability with manager support.
• Stay up to date with AI, GenAI, ML and agentic tech and contribute to internal AI initiatives and offerings.

You join as Senior Business Scientist within our Data & AI Transformation Services (DATS). You bridge business, consulting, AI & data expertise: you frame high-value use cases, turn business needs into AI opportunities, and drive adoption. You work alongside AI, Data and Software Engineers.

Clients’ Projects

• Lead the day-to-day relationship with business and CDO/CIO sponsors, and understand their strategic and operational challenges.
• Frame high-value Data & AI use cases and translate business needs into AI opportunities, from AI ambition and roadmap to Proof of Value and MVP.
• Depending on the engagement, act as Data & AI Product Owner: own the product vision and backlog, prioritize with business sponsors, write and accept user stories, steer the squad’s delivery with the Tech Lead from Proof of Value to MVP and production, and own the related delivery governance and planning.
• Align business teams, leadership and ExCo around the AI roadmap and the transformation priorities.
• Own the business value and adoption of the solutions built by the squad: operating model, usage, impact measurement, Responsible AI and governance. Challenge their feasibility and industrialization with the Tech Lead and the Tech Engineers; you do not build the models yourself, but you are technical enough to challenge and steer GenAI, LLM, agentic and ML solutions.
• Contribute to the Transformation Cockpit: maturity measurement, adoption KPIs and steering of AI value over time.
• Work within a multidisciplinary squad (Tech Lead, AI/Data/Software Engineers), apply Ekimetrics’ DATS methods, templates and deliverables, and tailor them to each client.
• Coordinate the business side of the squad and monitor delivery and profitability with manager support.

Strategic Projects

• Develop and share best practices, methodologies and DATS assets (how-tos, templates, typical deliverables) across the Data & AI Transformation community.
• Stay up to date with AI, GenAI, ML and agentic technologies, and with their impact on business models and operating models.
• Contribute to internal AI initiatives, accelerators and thought leadership.

Business Development

• Identify opportunities for Data & AI transformation within existing client accounts (upsell and cross-sell).
• Contribute to account development, renewals and project scoping, alongside the Partner.
• Contribute to RFPs, proposals and pitches.
• Support the development of new DATS offerings and use cases.

Transversal & People Development

• Contribute to recruitment, onboarding and development of Data & AI Transformation talent.
• Mentor and coach Junior Business Scientists and interns.
• Develop and deliver internal AI / Data training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
