Ingenio is seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to elevate our understanding of financial, product, and marketing performance across our EU brand portfolio. The ideal candidate will have expertise in B2C financial monitoring, marketplace dynamics, product analytics, and marketing analytics, with experience analyzing buyer–seller interactions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience analyzing marketplace operations, revenue analytics, product analytics, marketing analytics, consulting, finance, or business strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics or related quantitative fields.
• Exceptional skills in Google Sheets, Excel, Slides, Powerpoint, data extraction and analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets.
• Skilled in Tableau/Data visualization software. Familiarity with Python and/or R is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial analysis of brand results: Revenue, Engagement, Retention; and create analysis to understand both supply and demand behavior.
• Connect and reconcile data across local and international systems to build a consistent, trusted view of European performance.
• Partner with executive leadership to surface insights and drive accountability and growth.
• Partner with Marketplace Success to increase retention and monetization of loyal customers; utilization and revenue of sellers.
• Analyze product usage and user behavior to inform feature development, funnel optimization, and onboarding improvements, partnering with Product teams.
• Evaluate marketing campaign performance across channels, including acquisition efficiency, attribution, and ROAS, partnering with Marketing teams.
• Proactively explore available data to generate actionable insights and advocate strategies that increase business value.
• Maintain reports, decks and dashboards that track KPIs and provide insights into marketplace, product, and marketing effectiveness and ROI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key issues and opportunities, support business strategy based on data-driven insights.

How you’ll be impactful: We are seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst to elevate our understanding of financial, product, and marketing performance across our EU brand portfolio. The ideal candidate will have expertise in B2C financial monitoring, marketplace dynamics, product analytics, and marketing analytics, along with experience analyzing interactions between buyers and sellers. This role involves communicating insights to executive leadership and partnering with Marketplace Success, Product, and Marketing teams by developing and managing Tableau reports that track key metrics, playing a critical part in shaping strategic direction and optimizing brand performance. Our European data currently sits across multiple local and international systems, so a key part of this role is connecting and reconciling these sources into a consistent, trusted view of performance.

Please note: This role will require being in our Paris office at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll be doing:

What you’ll need to be successful:

• 5+ years of experience analyzing marketplace operations, revenue analytics, product analytics, marketing analytics, consulting, finance, or business strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics or related quantitative fields.
• Exceptional skills in Google Sheets, Excel, Slides, Powerpoint, data extraction and analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets.
• Skilled in Tableau/Data visualization software. Familiarity with Python and/or R is a plus.
• Experience working with fragmented or legacy data environments (multiple local/international systems) is a strong plus.
• Experience in analysis of revenue, customer behavior and marketplace dynamics. Familiarity with Product Analytics tools (Mixpanel) and marketing analytics/attribution platforms is a plus.
• Proven ability to frame and solve problems by extracting insight from raw data.
• Team player with a result-oriented approach, capable of navigating ambiguity and initiating/driving projects to completion.
• Expert in creation of presentations and reports for executive leadership to communicate findings, recommendations, and performance metrics. Exceptional communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Fluent French and English required; German is a plus given the European scope of this role.
