Ipsen Innovation invites applications for a Senior Director of Biostatistics in Rare Disease. The role leads biostatistics strategy across cross-functional teams, mentors statisticians, and guides regulatory submissions.

You will collaborate with clinicians, regulatory affairs, and data management to shape trial design and data interpretation. Based in Europe, the position emphasizes innovative trial designs, data integrity, and impactful outcomes for patients with rare diseases.

Qualifications

10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience with a PhD, or 12+ years with an MS; at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of widely used clinical study designs and advanced statistical methodology.
Experience with CDISC standards and regulatory submissions.

Responsabilités

Act as program-level lead biostatistician in cross-functional teams, providing strategic support to asset teams and authoring study documents.
Lead planning and execution of biostatistics deliverables, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Provide oversight to CROs and validate statistical deliverables for regulatory submissions and scientific publications.
Mentor and develop biostatisticians; contribute to departmental strategy and cross-functional initiatives.
