Natixis CIB in Marseille seeks an experienced Senior Banker to lead strategic client dialogues with executives and financial departments of corporate clients in the region. You will coordinate across Structured Financing, SECM, DCM, M&A, Global Trade, and Wealth Management to drive multi-business growth.

The role operates in an international environment, with frequent travel to the South of France and Paris, and offers hybrid work with the option to work from home.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 8 years of experience in corporate/investment banking or advisory.
• Strong financial analysis and credit assessment capabilities.
• Experience with corporate finance advisory (M&A, capital advisory, debt advisory) or private equity.

Responsabilités

• Analyze and understand clients' strategy to offer tailored solutions.
• Analyze, control and monitor risks of assigned counterparties.
• Develop and implement client-specific commercial action plans across bank divisions.
• Report on profitability, risk, and compliance objectives for the regional director.
• Act as the main entry point for clients within Natixis group and drive commercial relationships.

Job Description

POSITION AND MISSIONS

You will join the Advisory & Coverage team of the Mediterranean Regional Department within Natixis CIB. In this team, we are actively working on developing a strategic dialogue with the executives, shareholders and financial departments of corporate clients in the region. We provide them with the ideas/solutions/products best suited to their strategy, by coordinating the different areas of expertise of the bank and the BPCE group, targeting their transformative development projects.

On a daily basis, your tasks are to:

• Analyze and master your clients' strategy to be able to provide them with solutions that help them achieve their development objectives;
• Analyze, control, and monitor the present and future risks of the counterparties for which you will be responsible;
• Determine and implement, client by client and for each prospect, a commercial action plan coordinating the intervention of the group’s various businesses: Structured Financing (LBO, Acquisitions, Syndicated Loans, Assets, Projects), SECM, DCM, M&A, Global Trade, Fixed Income, Social Engineering, leasing, factor, Wealth Management,...;
• Report within the framework of the objectives set for you by the regional director:
  • Growth in the profitability of the client’s multi-business relationship for the Natixis group;
  • Risk management of the portfolio under management;
  • Compliance with procedures
• To be the natural and essential "entry point" for the client within the Natixis group, and for the business lines, the active driver of the commercial relationship.

As a Senior Banker, you actively participate in the commercial dynamic of the Mediterranean regional management and represent Natixis CIB on our territory.

This position is based in Marseille with the ability to work from home. It requires frequent trips to the South of France and Paris.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

With a higher education, you have at least 8 years of experience in a corporate and investment bank (ideally in corporate finance), an advisory structure (M&A, capital advisory, debt advisory) or in private equity.

You master:

• Financial analysis, credit and also have a good economic background;
• Financing and investment banking products/solutions;
• Prospecting techniques;

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen; you are:

• Endowed with a strong commercial temperament;
• Able to communicate with ease in writing and speaking;
• With excellent analytical and synthesis skills;
• Driven by results and able to manage priorities with rigor;
• Team oriented.

You master English with a minimum level of C1.
